There are many events in San Luis Obispo events which are attracting many people from all over the world to visit the place. Poly Royals organize an annual event every year that was known as Cal Poly’s open house till the year 2001 and after 2001 it is named as Open House Presents Poly Royal. It organizes the Concerts, entertainment events, grand parties and many more.

Other San Luis Obispo events are Olympic Flame, Tour of California, Cinco de Mayo, Concerts in the plaza, San Luis Obispo International Film Festival and Festival Mosaic. All of the above mentioned events are very popular among the natives and the tourists both.

Olympic flame: It is a very famous event in the San Luis Obispo events. It is basically a Relay race. In this people run with a torch and at a particular distance the torch is passed to the next runner and so on.

Tour of California: It is another well known San Luis Obispo Attractions. It is annual cycling race. It started in 19th February of year 2006. It covers around 655 to 710 miles of California in almost eight days of race.

Cinco de Mayo: A holiday is there on the 5th of May which is celebrated all over the USA and in Puebla State of Mexico. This day is celebrated to commemorate the reason of freedom and democracy of US. For the heritage and pride of Mexican city it is considered a very important day. Several San Luis Obispo events are organized. It is celebrated as the annual Mozart festival in which a Christmas Parade is organized.

Wine Region: the next San Luis Obispo attractions are the Edna Valley which is developed as the wine region. In the southern area of the city, people spend their afternoon tasting varieties of the wines. They enjoy with many people. The area of wine region is from Paso Robles (North about 30 miles) to Santa Ynez (South about 70 miles).  

Concerts in the plaza: it is very famous San Luis Obispo events among the local resident people and the tourists. During the months of summer people gather together in Mission Plaza. There is an outdoor concert on every evening of Friday for no charges.

San Luis Obispo International Film Festival: It is a well known event out of the San Luis Obispo events. Every year the movie stars from all over the world come here to celebrate this huge event. There are celebrations, parties, exclusive live shows and many more events are organized for the various entertainment purpose.

Festival Mosaic: it is a musical festival that is for 2 weeks. The organizer features the well known guest artists who represent their delightful and magical music performances. People can experience great wines, fabulous dinner and rocking shows there. Festival Mosaic is one of the noteworthy events among all the San Luis Obispo attractions.

Bike Happening: Bike happening, a remarkable San Luis Obispo events among all other events. This is also known as the Bike Nite. All the natives and tourists gather at Mission Plaza. They come with their bikes, to have a social ride and lots of fun. They have some sort of theme every month on first Thursday- the day of Bike Happening.

All these aspects make San Luis Obispo events the best of all other events that you would have ever expected.
