Please do not be alarmed as all of the Black Bears that once inhabited the area have long migrated to less-populated locales and this makes the town a great and safe place to visit! All the bears that once freely roamed the dense and splendid forest of Los Olos are not all gone as every now and then a loner Black Bear is seen wandering around the edges of town. Most of the animals that remain are the ones found in the many clubs and nightlife scenes that Los Osos California has to offer!
